I’m Not Here to Tell You What to Eat
I’m not here to tell anyone what to eat or how to live.
I’m here to be a practical resource—so you can make informed food and fitness decisions that fit your life.
I also believe in steady, sustainable progress: losing weight without losing your strength, your energy, or your confidence. Rapid weight loss can sometimes leave people feeling “smaller” but not necessarily stronger—and that’s not the goal here.
That’s why my approach emphasizes:
-
real food you can recognize
-
enough protein to support muscle
-
simple strength + movement
-
and nutrient-dense choices (including collagen-rich foods like chicken with skin/bone, plus vitamin-C foods you can add to salads, like cucumber and more).

The Food Environment We’re Up Against
The modern grocery store looks like endless choice—but much of the shelf space is dominated by a relatively small number of mega-brands and processors.
And the results show up everywhere:
Overweight (including obesity): about 73.6% of U.S. adults (latest CDC estimate using 2017–2018 data).
Obesity: about 40.3% of U.S. adults (Aug 2021–Aug 2023).
Chronic disease: responsible for 7 in 10 deaths each year in the U.S.
Medical cost estimates of obesity: often cited around $147B/year (estimates vary).
Advertising: food, beverage, and restaurant companies spend ~$14B/year on advertising in the U.S.
Market concentration examples: investigations have found ~93% of sodas and ~73% of breakfast cereals are dominated by just a few companies.
Beef processing: the “big four” processors control 80%+ of the market.
When profit drives formulation, companies get very good at making food cheaper to produce and harder to stop eating—using engineered combinations of sweetness, salt, fat, flavorings, and texture.
So What Do We Do?
Keep it simple: build your meals from real food, most of the time.
Not perfection. Not fear. Just a better default.
When you shift toward real food, many people notice—often quickly:
steadier energy
fewer cravings
better digestion
better sleep
easier weight management
And here’s the bigger truth: we do have a choice. When enough of us demand better ingredients, clearer labels, and more real options, the market follows.
My goal for you: thrive with vitality—and become the strongest version of yourself.
